From Railyard to Urban Park: Exploring Gleisdreieck (englische Führung)
Freitag, 12.09. / Zeit: 16:00 – 18:00 Uhr

Join us on an exciting tour through Gleisdreieck Park and discover the fascinating history of this unique place at various stops.
Once three railroad stations, it transformed into a wild no-man’s land after World War II and is now a vast urban wilderness park in the heart of the city.
During the tour, we will dive into topics such as urban development, the history of the railroad, as well as the park’s flora and fauna. We will show how nature has been harmoniously integrated into the park design and the role citizen participation played in creating the park.
